Craig Lynch, Ouellet and Lynch

Craig A. Lynch is passionate about gems and jewelry, Mr. Lynch has worked in the jewelry industry for more than 40 years. For the last 35 years he has been the owner of Ouellet and Lynch an independent gem and jewelry appraisal firm in Phoenix Arizona. During his career he has been fortunate to work on many unique projects and has had the opportunity to examine and appraise some of the rarest unique and beautiful jewels on the planet.

To mention a few.. In 2002 he was honored to be the chosen appraiser for all the jewelry and watches recovered from the shipwreck “RMS Titanic”. In 2006 he examined – while it was loose and appraised the historic “Archduke Joseph” diamond a true Golconda, Type II, 76 carat, D-Flawless diamond which sold for 21 million at Christies, Geneva in 2012. Since 2008 he has been the gemological consultant and appraiser for the world renowned “Somewhere in the Rainbow Collection”.

He has been honored to complete multiple appraisals or the Smithsonian’s mineral and gem collection at the National Museum of Natural History in Washington DC., The Museum of Natural History of Los Angeles County, Los Angeles Ca., The Alfie Norville Gem and Mineral Museum, University of Arizona, Tucson Az.

He has appeared in more than 45 episodes of the PBS television series “Arizona Collectibles” as the shows on “air expert” for gems and jewelry.

Mona Miller, Pacific Gem Laboratory

Mona L. Miller, FGA/GG/FASA/ICGA-Master Gemologist Appraiser Ms. Miller is the Principle/Director of Pacific Gem Laboratory in Portland, OR, since 1989. Pacific Gem Laboratory specializes in Gem & Jewelry Appraisals, Forensic reports, and Consultation services. She has worked in the jewelry industry since 1981 as a buyer, retailer, appraiser, and educator.

Ms. Miller is a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (FGA), A37Graduate Gemologist (GG) from the Gemological Institute of America, Fellow of the American Society of Appraisers (FASA), and an Independent Certified Gemologist Appraiser (ICGA) with the American Gem Society, among many other associations. She has held many positions within ASA, including Regional & Discipline Governor, Chair of the International Education Committee, Chair of the Gems & Jewelry Education, Chair of the Compeer Leaison Task Force and Chair of the ASA Educational Foundation for 12 years. Currently the Chair Constitution & By-law Committee.

In addition, Ms. Miller is an adjunct professor at multiple Universities, which she developed and teaches Gem & Jewelry evaluation and specialty classes, along with ASA’s Principle of Valuation classes PP/GJ 201, 202, 203, GJ205 & GJ216 along with international valuation classes. She is also a Certified USPAP Instructor for The Appraisal Foundation and Certified Instructor for Oregon and Washington Insurance Professionals.

Ms. Miller is a highly respected within the industry as an appraiser, mentor, and educator in the Gem & Jewelry Appraisal Profession, works with the public, insurance companies, the legal profession, and Government Agencies. Her specialty is period and antique jewelry.

Martin Fuller, Gem & Jewelry Appraisal Profession

Martin Fuller is an FGA, A GG, A Master Gemologist Appraiser and a Certified Senior Appraiser. He is located in Washington D.C., where since 1987 he continues to supervise a jewelry appraisal and gemological consulting practice.

Having studied gemology with GEM-A and GIA, and valuation science with American Society of Appraisers and the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers, Martin has the knowledge and skills necessary to manage a wide variety of projects.

Joshua Hyman, Philadelphia Jewelry Appraisers

Joshua M. Hyman, GG. (GIA) is a 4th generation jeweler from Jeweler’s Row in Philadelphia. He grew up inside the industry, studied gemstone cutting & basic gemology in Idar-Oberstein Germany, is a Graduate Gemologist (GIA) March, 1992, worked for Gandelman Jeweler’s, Aruba in retail, Levison’s Pawn, Miami in the pawn business, Marshall Asnen, Inc., in the wholesale business and since 2011 has owned and operated Philadelphia Jewelry Appraisers. Joshua also co-started Gemology Worldwide Facebook group, co-hosted Gemology Worldwide Podcast and is an annually invited guest speaker at Princeton University Geo Science department. His passion is teaching and sharing everything gemology which has lead him to speak to 6th grade students in science class each semester for the last 4 years.
