Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California Announces 2019 Honorees

Southern California, (September 9, 2019) The Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California and its Board of Directors are pleased to announce the Club’s 2019 honorees, who will be recognized during its 75th Annual Dinner Dance and Gala, which will take place at the Montage Beverly Hills, 225 North Canon Drive, Beverly Hills, CA, on Saturday, October 12th in the Marquesa Ballroom. 

This year’s Excellence in Service honorees are Bill Jones and Ruben Bindra. Jones is the CEO of Sissy’s Log Cabin in Pine Bluff, Little Rock, Jonesboro and Memphis. He is an award-winning jewelry designer, a board member of National Trade Organizations and a real estate developer. Bindra started B & B Fine Gems with his wife in 1985 working from their apartment. Today B & B Fine Gems imports fine quality gemstones from over 13 countries and has clientele in over 14 countries. The firms name is synonymous with handling some of the Finest Gemstones in the world.

 

“Bill and Ruben have both made a tremendous impact on our industry, and exemplify a high standard of professionalism, business ethic and a commitment to excellence, true to the 24 Karat Club’s mission,” said Silvia Raz, the 24 Karat Club’s president.

 

The 24 Karat Club is most honored to bestow upon Terry Chandler, of Diamond Council of America, the 24 Karat Club’s Lifetime Achievement Award. “The Lifetime Achievement Award was created to recognize an individual who has made significant contributions to the jewelry industry throughout their career”, said Raz, “Terry is currently a member of the Jewelers Leadership Forum and serves on the Board of the U.S. Jewelry Council. He is also a member of the 24 Karat Club Southeastern United States and has served as President of that Organization. He is a gifted professional with a proven dedication to this industry, truly worthy of this honor and recognition.
