American Gem Trade Association Announces Board of Directors’ Election Results

Dallas, Texas, September 10, 2019 – The American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) announced today the results of its annual AGTA Board of Directors’ Election.  Mr. Jonathan Gad, Gad Enterprises; Mr. William Heher, Rare Earth Mining Co.; Mr. David Nassi, 100% Natural, Ltd.; and Mr. Shekhar Shah, Real Gems, Inc., were re-elected as Directors to the Board. Ms. Ann Barker, Barker & Company; Mr. John Bradshaw, John J. Bradshaw; and Evan Caplan, Evan Caplan, were newly-elected. The Directors’-elect will take office in February 2020, and will serve three-year terms.

AGTA would like to recognize Mr. Pramod Agrawal, Ms. Gina Latendresse and Mr. Simon Watt for their commitment to the AGTA Board of Directors, and to express appreciation for their years of service and dedication to AGTA.  Their terms as Directors will end in February 2020.

The Nominating Committee was chaired by Past President Jeffrey Bilgore.  The Committee Members were Pramod Agrawal, John Bachman, Kimberly Collins, Simon Watt and Ray Zajicek. The AGTA Board of Directors holds elections on a rotating cycle in order to guarantee coherence of the Board’s long-term plans. The new Board Members will be introduced at the AGTA Membership Meeting, which is open to all AGTA Members and will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at AGTA GemFair™ Tucson.
