The 2019 AGTA GemFair™ Tucson show marks the thirtieth Tucson show for AGTA Trade Show Manager, Mary Lou Keen. Ms. Keen was honored at the annual AGTA Membership Meeting on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. “AGTA, its members and this show are my second family,” said Ms. Keen, with tears of joy.
Ms. Keen joined the AGTA in 1989 and since then helped develop the AGTA presence at past shows such as the Smart Show, the SJTA Show, MJSA Expo and the AGTA GemFair™ at the JCK Show. Ms. Keen has also been an integral part of the development of current AGTA shows including the AGTA GemFair™ Tucson, the AGTA Spectrum Awards™, the AGTA Pavilion at the JA New York Summer Show, and the debut of the new AGTA GemFair™ Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The American Gem Trade Association is a not‐for‐profit Association serving the natural colored
gemstone and cultured pearl industry since 1981. The AGTA serves the industry as “The Authority in Color” and has it’s headquarter office in Dallas, Texas.”
