Each year more than 7,000,000 people visit the Smithsonian Institution to see the Janet Annenberg Hooker Hall of Geology, Gems & Minerals, home of the Hope Diamond and the single largest exhibit hall ever renovated in the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. GIA’s Education, Research, and Museum are the focus this year. Our exhibit will illustrate how gifts to the GIA Collection are treasured and put to immediate use in our classrooms, research laboratory, library, and for display in museum exhibits. A Limited Edition GIA Collection poster featuring diamond crystals will be offered in 2008 – please stop by the booth to pick one up; they're free!
