AGTA Changes GemFair Day Pattern for 2010
"We have had many requests over the years from exhibitors and buyers alike to move our show dates back one day," stated Douglas K. Hucker, AGTA CEO. "With the support and cooperation of the Tucson Gem & Mineral Society and the Tucson Convention Center, we were finally able to make it happen."
The AGTA Spectrum Awards Gala is still planned for Saturday night, its traditional night. Other events may or may not change depending on the individual groups involved.
Look for additional news as we get closer to GemFair Tucson.

It has come to the attention of the American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) that an Exhibitors Directory called the Expo Guide has been soliciting our members with a free listing. Several members have been misled by this organization in the past, so beware of the fine print.
The letter states that corrections to their provided listing of your company can only be done online. If you fax in the provided listing form with corrections - they often leave the fax number or email address off or with question marks - then you are committing yourself to a full page insertion at $1,571 for three years, as stated in the fine print at the bottom of the page.
Members who have mistakenly faxed in this form in the past have been threatened with legal action for non-payment of this annual fee.
