Selling Colored Gemstones
This education CD is a convenient, affordable, and effective product information and selling skills course developed especially for retail jewelry sales professionals. The course focuses on the 13 colored gemstones that are most commonly encountered in jewelry – Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Amethyst, Citrine, Garnet, Aquamarine, Opal, Peridot, Spinel, Tanzanite, Topaz and Tourmaline. It discusses each gemstone’s color range, cutting styles and size range, as well as sources, durability and folklore. It also explains factors that affect value.
The course consists of lesson material and a simple test. Most people can finish it in less than an hour. Once the test is completed, sent to the AGTA and approved, the "student" receives an AGTA certificate of completion.
